Ingredients:

1 cup milk powder

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

2 tbsp ghee

1/4 cup milk (or as needed)

Oil/ghee for frying
For sugar syrup:

1.5 cups sugar

1.5 cups water
-
4 cardamom pods
-
A few drops of rose water or saffron (optional)
Instructions:

Combine milk powder, flour, and baking soda. Add ghee and mix.

Gradually add milk to form a soft dough. Let rest for 10 minutes.

Shape into small, smooth balls.

Heat oil/ghee and fry on low heat until golden brown.

Boil sugar, water, and cardamom to make syrup. Simmer for 10 mins.

Soak fried balls in warm syrup for at least 1 hour.
